I'm a student artist who is very passionate about animal rights and environmentalism, and I specialise in oil paints and charcoals! I believe in the ability of art to inspire others, and to, more broadly, inspire change in the world, and I hope to create artworks which do inspire others and do inspire change in the world.

Hedy
I am an artist who is currently in y12! My major medium for art is charcoal and pencil/colour pencils, and my artworks are mainly based on hyperrealism styles of still life and animal studies. I believe that creating work in a vivid and realistic style communicates an artworks message in a most tactile and visually shocking way as if the object was in front of you. In the future, i want to explore further under the theme of animal exploitation e.g animal testing and animal labouring and using my artworks to urge people to face this serious phenomenon.

I started learning art in elementary school. During middle school, I studied some techniques in sketching and oil painting, drew from life, and did recreations. After entering high school, I began creating original artworks about nature. I hope audiences can briefly escape anxiety through my artwork and feel the charm of nature.

Belle Lu ( Co-leader )
I’m Belle Lu, a senior high school student studying in Manchester, Vt. Art is the language I connect with the world. It allows me to interpret my personal experiences, observe my surroundings, and reflect on the relationships between humans, nature, and the communities we inhabit. I see art as a media to create ripple in living experences-- a continuous exchange between observation, reflection, and creation.

I'm passionate about sport and I do put it into my art creation. I have various hobbies and I like to experiment with multiple media. Furthermore my major is related to gender issues and I hope to illustrate my ideas through different art forms.

I was fascinated with art since very young. I've studied art through various ways, including sketching, oil painting, design, and now I mainly work with digital illustration. But no matter how the tools change, I've always held one belief: art is never limited by its format. Different mediums are just different languages, and the center is always to take the beauty I see and the ideas I find interesting and turn them into something others can feel, in my own way. For me, art is both a hobby and my most natural way of speaking.
